GEAR REVIEW: Coros Pace 4 and HR monitor

The latest running tech from Coros is pretty forgettable–but that’s exactly what I want from my gear. With both the Pace 4 smartwatch and heart rate monitor, it’s easy to forget you’re wearing it, letting you focus fully on performing, instead of the tech itself. Two weeks ago, I tried out my first HYROX in Ottawa and recorded my race using the Pace 4’s hybrid fitness setting. At an ultralight 32 g with the nylon band, the Pace 4 is especially ideal for runners with small wrists, while the comfortable armband-style HR monitor made me seriously question why anyone still uses a chest strap.
