About

Every launch,
on the record.

Endurance Wire is an independent guide to endurance sports gear. We focus on what changed from one generation to the next, what stayed the same, and which differences matter. We put those details next to the release history so you can decide whether to upgrade, keep what you have, or wait.

Why we built Endurance Wire

We spend our time on endurance sports: marathons, trail running, cycling, triathlon, and more. Endurance Wire grew out of using the gear and keeping up with the upgrades and the new technology.

We organize release history, specifications, and model comparisons, and analyze what an upgrade adds and whether the next release is worth the wait. Estimated launch windows come from past release cycles. They are not confirmed dates.

As more answers come from AI, we want this gear information to be easy to reach from there too. Our MCP server lets an assistant use the same data you see here, so you spend less time searching.

How rumors are graded

We grade each report on the evidence behind it and link to its source. Official announcements are marked as confirmed. Regulatory filings and retailer listings carry more weight than unverified reports about future products. A confidence grade reflects the evidence we have, not a guarantee that a product will launch.

Editorial policy

We cite our sources and distinguish confirmed information from estimates and unverified reports. When we cannot verify the exact day, we publish the month. Corrections are noted next to the information they affect.
