Fenix 8 and Co.: Garmin brings new functions to older watch models

Garmin has announced some new functions with the Fenix 9 series , which should now also benefit older devices. In the past, such innovations were reserved for the respective new models. By restructuring the software platform, the company can bring some features to existing devices for the first time. Among other things, all models of the Fenix 8 series are to receive the software updates of the new series – apart from those that are dependent on larger storage or the new map engine, for example.
