The Polar Grit X2 finally arrives in the US—but at double the price we expected

The Polar Grit X2 is finally available in the US more than four months after its international debut—but it’s doing so at a dramatically higher price point than in other regions. Priced at $799, the sports watch is a very different proposition than that offered in the UK and Europe, where it’s available for £399/€479. For reference, those figures, when converted, are closer to $525-$550. While this means the Grit X2 doesn’t undercut devices like the Garmin Fenix E and others as effectively as it does in different countries, it still lands $200 below the flagship Grit X2 Pro ($999).
