The Garmin Edge 1060 Can Charge Lights and Phones, but Garmin Warns of an Important Limitation While Riding
· Reported by TodoMountainBike
Using the Garmin Edge 1060 as a power source for other devices could be particularly useful for cyclists tackling long-distance rides. A taillight running out of battery or a phone about to shut down are situations where having extra power available can make a real difference. However, a warning buried in the new cycling computer's official documentation significantly changes how this feature should be understood. Garmin introduced the Edge 1060 on October 20 with several new features, including the ability to use its internal battery to supply power to other devices.
