Swimming and running just got better: Suunto smartwatches receive major software update

Suunto is currently rolling out an update (firmware version 2.50.26) for a number of smartwatch models, such as the Suunto Vertical . This is a comprehensive update that offers significant improvements for a wide range of athletes. According to the changelog, the new software allows sensors connected to sports modes to be activated and deactivated individually. There are also new, preconfigured modes for duathlon and swim & run. In swim & run and triathlon mode, there is now a function for automatically changing the sport. This means that the watch switches to the next activity without any user input.
