It’s only been a few months since I reviewed the Suunto Race S , but in that short time a lot has changed in the Suuntoverse. Soon after publishing that review, Suunto released the Run — their first running watch with internal storage for music playback. I welcomed it with open arms; music support was one of the few real drawbacks I found with the Race S. Around the same time, the Suunto app received a major overhaul. The redesign finally brought it into the modern era: cleaner, more intuitive, easier to navigate, and far more engaging to use. Not long after came the launch of the Suunto Race 2.
