They’re the the successors to the Mini 2, which came out almost four years ago and has become the most popular satellite communicator on the market for backpackers, hikers, thru-hikers, and plenty of other outdoor lovers. In short, the Mini 3 comes with a few new features like a touchscreen and full-color display, while the Plus adds a speaker/microphone and some more serious functional upgrades.
