Garmin Fenix 8 Review: Is it a Better Buy Over the New Fenix 9?
· By Endurance Wire
When I originally published this review in September 2024, I called it “The Best Golf Watch You Probably Shouldn’t Buy.” That wasn’t because the Garmin Fenix 8 wasn’t fantastic. It was. And after wearing mine nearly every day for two years, I feel even more strongly about just how good it is. At launch, you could buy an Epix Gen 2 , and sometimes even an Epix Gen 2 Pro, for a few hundred dollars less. The Fenix 8 brought a newer design, a revamped interface, better heart-rate hardware, a microphone and speaker, dive functionality, and plenty of smaller refinements.
